The Board of the Brewers of Europe has confirmed the nomination of Dr. Stefan Lustig to the position of EBC President. The formal hand-over from the incumbent, Christian von der Heide, was effected at a meeting of the EBC Executive during Brau-Beviale 2011. Dr. Stefan Lustig is Chief Operating Officer of the Munich-based Brauholding international, brewers of brands such as Paulaner, Kulmbacher and Fürstenberg. At the same time, Dr. Stefan Kreisz of Carlsberg Research was internally appointed to take on the role of EBC Vice-President. Click here for a copy of the press release statement.
